JEDDAH (Saturday, July 21, 2012) – Madinah Institute for Leadership & Entrepreneurship’s The 6th annual roundtable session of World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF) will be held in Madinah in collaboration with Madinah Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship (MILE)with the aim of discussing the issue of unemployment.
Executive Director of MILE, Dr. Mohamed Moustafa Mahmoud, who attended as a keynote speaker at the World Islamic Economic Forum 2012 in Delhi, said that the two-day roundtable event will kick off in Madinah Knowledge Economic City and scholars from home and abroad will take part in several sessions also discussing theconcrete steps the private sector could undertake to move towards preferential trading& investment regime and gradually realizing an Islamic common market, the issue of Islamic business ethics in OIC countries and transition of family businesses in the OIC countries.
Minister of Labor, Eng. Adel Fakeih will inaugurate the roundtable while WIEF Foundation Chairman Tun Musa Hitam, Chairman of Bangladesh Organising Committee and Member of International Advisory Panel WIEF SalahuddinKasem Khan will attend it.
The Madinah Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship, an executive education institute that was inititated in 2007 with the aim of increasing the knowledge value of executives in the Middle East will be the key sponsor of the event, and is currently discussing a partnership with WIEF to launch 3 programs: WIEF Women Leaders, WIEF University Leaders Program and WIEF Social Entrepreneurship Program.
